Ethiopian Media Authority higher officials and staff members held a meeting to discuss the performance of the first quarter of 2021.

During the meeting, the quarterly performance report, the execution of the planned activities as well as the strengths and weaknesses identified were highlighted in the presentation. The staff discussed how to improve the strengths, to address the gaps, and issues that need focus for the future. Also, the authority briefed its staff on the Code of Conduct regarding its amendment on the prevention of corruption and malpractice and creating a more ethical workforce.

Mr. Mohamed Idris, Director-General of the Ethiopian Media Authority, gathered input from the staff to consult on the strengths and shortcomings indicated in the quarterly performance discussion. During the conversation, the director-general reacted to questions and comments, stating that the strengths that have been highlighted should be emphasized and expanded upon and that the gaps that need to be addressed should be addressed in the future.
