Directorates

Surveying Directorate
Establishment, maintenance and identification, horizontal and vertical geodetic control points (GCPs), topographic and engineering survey, electronic data processing, and optical instrument maintenance.

Remote Sensing and GIS Directorate
Digital and analogue image processing and interpretation for the application of natural resource management, impact assessment, maps revision, environment system monitoring and change assessment, agricultural, geological, hydro- geological, early warning system, and food security.

Mapping Directorate
- National topographic and thematic mapping and, urban development maps, Aeronautical charts production, specification and standardization of maps, geographic names coordinates (gazetteer) database, atlas preparation, maps revision and etc.
- Photo masicing, orthophoto maps production, DEM generation, aerial triangulation etc.
- Aerial photograph archiving data acquisition, positive and negative film processing and maps, atlas, catalogue printing and etc.

Information Technology Directorate
Database Management, Network Administration, Software Development, Maintenance Service on repairing, Softcopy data burning ,Adjustement of Opti-mechanical and opti-electronic surveying instrument and System Administration.
