E.M.A'S Quality Standard Directorate aspires to be Ethiopian foremost Geo-Information Quality and Standard assuring center that substantially contributes to raising need of quality and standard on geo information production services.

Mission

The directorate strive for effective standard geo information production, quality promotion and conformity assessment services to nationally spatial data infrastructure.

Directorate objectives

In line with the Agency's strategic objectives, we provide compassionate government service to geo information producers and professionals.

The following strategic objectives are stipulated

• The provision of efficient geo-information production quality assurance service,
• Assist in the effort to generate quality product services in geo-information through the promotion and application of Ethiopian Geo-information production Services Standards,
• Participate in related standardization of Geo information production and services at consolidation of the country's agenda.
